On the tenth day of Christmas...

...Grandpa gets crafty. This was the perfect present for Zack's turn to open.

 An ornament....

 The note reveals that Grandpa actually helped make this little craft item. The kids were surprised by the news, not me.  One Christmas, Michelle and I each got little doll houses that he made. I wish I had a picture, because they were cleverly designed,  included wallpaper and couches and beds that he also built. It also reminded me of the time that he helped me re-upholster some couches. 

My mom has a reputation for being crafty and I love that she and Dad made these together. We have the perfect spot to add a little Joy to our Christmas decorations.
