I totally remember Whitman's samplers. I loved them when I was little. They also remind me of my Grandma McGarry because she had empty boxes around and I thought they were fun to play with (after I got over the disappointment that there was no chocolate inside). The boys were willing to try the chocolate but I am not sure if I'll get them to try milk and toast. I don't think I want to try milk and toast.
