I'll just admit it: I am a huge Utah Jazz fan. I haven't missed many games since the horrible December slump. For the past 4 and 1/2 months, I have planned my life around the games. Since the Jazz's season ended a few weeks ago I have been starved for entertainment. That's all changed thanks to the addition of a couple of basketball hoops in the neighborhood.
I might not be watching D-Will, Memo, Booze, AK, Kyle or the rest
but what is more fun than watching your neighbor climb on top of the electrical box to attempt a behind the basket shot in a game of pig? Or seeing Tom sink a shot from the sidewalk only to have Laurie nail the same shot grannie style?
When Matt (my Matt not Harpring) comes off the curl and misses the shot, I may as well be watching the Jazz. Hooray! This summer I can count on walking out my front door and watching some kind of basketball action on any given night. That's enough to keep me occupied until October.
